The Oxford High School football team beat Notre Dame-Fairfield 47-20 at home Saturday afternoon.
The Wolverines, who dropped three close games in their past three outings, got a confidence boost against Notre Dame.
Senior tailback Joe Greco took advantage of his opportunity to get a bunch of carries with starting running back Chris Hovan seeing limited action due to an injury. Greco carried the ball 10 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns, one a 47-yarder, the other a 15-yard rush.

Senior Chris VanKamerik also had a big day, scoring on a 45-yard interception return in the first quarter.
Quarterback Alex Miller threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to fellow senior Jordan Biagioni and another TD pass, another 7-yarder to Brian Spicer and ran for a 14-yard score to put Oxford on the board in the first quarter.

Oxford improves to 2-7 on the season.
