The Oxford High School girls basketball team lost a close game to Ansonia in the second round consolation game of the Candy Cane Classic at Amity High School in Woodbridge.
The Wolverines lost 32-29 They were led in scoring by Jordyn Tolomeo, who finished with a game-high 13 points en route to being named to the all-tournament team. Rhiannon Bacik had 10 points for Oxford, who drop to 2-4 overall on the season.
