Oxford Girls Team Wins, Boys Lose

The girls basketball team got back on the winning route behind a stellar performance from senior co-captain , who made six 3-pointers to score 19 points and lead the Wolverines to a convincing win over Stratford on Friday.

Oxford won 46-28 to improve to 3-5 on the season. Rhiannon Bacik also had a great game for Oxford with a double-double in points, 12, and rebounds, 11.

Stratford drops to 3-5.

The Oxford boys basketball team couldn’t come back from a strong performance right out of the gate by Stratford Friday night. The boys lost 68-40 to drop to 1-6 on the season; Stratford is 4-3.

Center J.T. Van Kamerik led Oxford with 15 points.
