Oxford Girls Track Has Good Showing Sheehan Relays

Many of the girls set school records for relay-type events and one group set a meet record.

The following news release was submitted by Oxford girls track coach Ed Lucas.

The Oxford girls track team finished sixth at the Lady Titan Relays at Sheehan High School Friday night. There were no individual events as each event was a relay-type event.

Since Oxford has such a small team, many of the girls competed in back-to-back events and in some of the field events only one or two girls competed, whereas other schools has the full three allowed to compete in the field events.
