Oxford High Girls Track Finishes Fourth at Relays

Event was held Friday night at Sheehan High School.

The Oxford High School girls finished fourth at the Lady Titan Relays at Sheehan High School on Friday night. The girls team set six school records.

Overall team scores are:

Individually for the Oxford Girls:

1st place overall: Corrinn Niski, Jill Miller and Olivia Hinnau in the 3x100 High Hurdles in a time of 51.9 seconds. The girls set a school record and defended their 1st place title from last year as well.

1st place overall: Caylee Richardson, Olivia Richter, Marcea Stilson and Sara Thorpe in the 4x800 in a school record time of 10:30.7

1st place overall: Hannah VanBuiten, Olivia Richter, Marcea Stilson and Caylee Richardson in the Distance Medley Relay in 13:26. The girls just missed the school record by a second.

2nd place overall: Taylor Drayton, Audrey Pratt and Elizabeth Racsko in 3x Javelin Throw relay with a combined throw of 234-0 ft. This also set a school record.

2nd place overall: Taylor Drayton, Anne Dennen, Kaitlyn Speaker in the 3x Discus Throw relay with a combined throw of 216-4 ft. This also set a school record.

3rd place overall: Anne Dennen, Jill Miller and Elizabeth Racsko in the 3x Triple Jump. The girls jumped a combined distance of 76-0.5 ft. This set a school record in the event.

3rd place overall: Hannah VanBuiten, Lindsey Koski, Corrinn Niski and Sara Thrope in the 4x400 meter relay in a season best time of 4:32. This time also qualified the girls for the SWC and State Championships.

3rd overall: Hannah VanBuiten, Jill Miller, Corrinn Niski and Olivia Richter in the 1600 Sprint Medley Relay with a time of 4:44.

4th overall: Taylor Drayton, Shea Carothers and Audrey Pratt in the 3x Shot Put relay. The girls set a school record with a combined throw of 77-1 ft.

5th overall: Lindsey Koski, Anne Dennen and Jill Miller in the 3x Long Jump. The girls combined jumps were 37-4.5 ft. This is also a school record in the event.

5th overall: The Distance Medley "B" team of Mila Bowersox, Lindsey Koski, Elizabeth Racsko and Sara Ponce with a time of 17:07.

5th overall: Kaitlyn Speaker, Shea Carothers, Caroline Wolf and Taylor Drayton in the 4x100 Throwers Relay in a time of 1:05

6th overall: Anne Dennen in the 3x High Jump Relay. All the other teams in this event had 3 girls where Anne competed all by herself.

6th overall: Corrinn Niksi, Sara Thope, Olivia Hinnau and Hannah VanBuiten in the 4x200 in a time of 2:05.

Also running for Oxford were:

The 4x100 team of Olivia Hinnau, Marta Zeglen, Jill Miller and Audrey Pratt finished in 57.7 which came in 7th and the "B" team of Kaitlyn Speaker, Shea Carothers, Caroline Wolf and Mila Bowersox finished in 69.2 that finished 10th

The "B" 1600 Sprint Medley Team of Lindsey Koski, Olivia Hinnau, Marta Zeglen and Elizabeth Racsko finished in 5:29 placed 7th overall.

The girls final league meet of the year is Monday at 4 p.m. at Weston with Masuk and Joel Barlow.
