Oxford High Sports Teams Look Solid

Baseball

Alex Miller hit a single and scored the go-head run in the third inning on a Dale Keller sacrifice fly to lead the Oxford High School baseball team to a 2-1 victory over Joel Barlow on Monday.

Jake Brown had two hits and an RBI for Oxford, 7-1, 5-7 SWC.

Dan Kudej (4-3) got the win on the mound for the Wolverines.

Nick Kot had a single, a double and scored Barlow’s only run. Barlow moves to 6-11 on the season, 2-10 SWC.

Oxford is now 11-6. This marks the most wins in history for OHS Girls' Track Team and the first time the team beat Masuk. 

The 4x800 relay team of Caylee Richardson, Olivia Richater, Sara Thorpe and Marcea Stilson came in 2nd with a time of 10:33

Taylor Drayton came in 2nd in the Javelin with a throw of 108-5 which set a school record

Audrey Pratt came in 4th in the Javelin with a throw of 76-11

Caylee Richardson came in 1st in the 1600 in a school record time of 5:30

Marcea Stilson came in 2nd in the 1600 with a time of 5:32

Olivia Richter came in 3rd in the 1600 with a time of 5:32

Corrinn Niski came in 4th in the 300 Intermediate Hurdles with at time of 51.9

Olivia Richter came in 4th in the 800 in 2:36

Caylee Richardson came in 1st in the 3200 in a school record time of 11:56

Marcea Stilson came in 2nd in the 3200 in 12:08

Taylor Drayon won the shot put with a throw of 35-8

Audrey Pratt came in 2nd with a throw of 30-3

The team's next meet is Monday May 21 @ Bethel for the SWC Championships.
