Oxford Indoor Track Teams Do Well in SWC Meet

The boys indoor track team finished 11th and the girls finished 15th in the South-West Conference championship out of more than 30 teams over the weekend. The teams will wait to see the results of Class M & L to find out who has qualified for the state open on Saturday.

Oxford's scoring Performances included:

Girls 4x800 - 4th place - 10:19 (Marcea Stilson, Sara Thorpe, Caylee Richardson, Olivia Richter)

Girls 1600 - 3rd Place - Richter - 5:19.54

Boys 4x400 - 5th place - 3:38.17 (Ryan Flach, Cameron Swift, Mike Morton, Joe Greco)

Boys Sprint Medley - 3rd place - 3:48.16 (Flach, Brandon Au, Morton, Swift)

Boys 1000 - Swift - 3rd place - 2:40.14

Boys 1000 - Morton - 4th place - 2:40.68
