Newtown Savings Bank played the key role community supporter, by spearheading the Oxford Group’s presentation of the “Oxford Means Business” Seminar. Newtown Savings Bank collaborated with town officials and contacted local small businesses inviting them to the “Oxford Means Business” seminar. Susan Kovacs, Newtown Savings Bank Manager and a long-time Oxford resident, with support from Andrew McGeever, developed large and small businesses support groups.
