Oxford Baseball Player Named Rep-Am Athlete of the Week

Oxford High School baseball pitcher Gus Constantino was named the Waterbury Republican-American player of the week after pitching a no hitter last week. (Click the previous link to go to the Republican-American story.)

threw the first no hitter in Oxford High School history on Wednesday in a 9-0 win over Weston. He also had an RBI single and stole two bases.

The victory gave Oxford enough wins on the season to propel the Wolverines into the state tournament for the first time.
