Oxford State Sen. Rob Kane Considers Gubernatorial Run: Report
The Watertown resident has represented the 32nd District in the Connecticut Senate since 2008.

WATERTOWN, CT — State Sen. Rob Kane (R-32nd) is considering a run for governor in 2018, reports the Connecticut Post.
Kane is a Watertown resident four-term Republican, who currently serves as the deputy minority leader pro tempore. His district includes Woodbury, Middlebury, Oxford, Roxbury, Seymour, Bethlehem and Southbury.
Though he has not announced his candidacy, some of his constituents clearly would like for him to run. At a recent fair in Bethlehem, Kane won a straw poll of which Republicans attendees would like to see run, beating out Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton among others.
