Oxford Students Receive Superintendent Award
Two from Oxford High and two from Great Oak are honored.

A luncheon was held recently at the Laurel View Country Club in Hamden and four students from the Oxford Public Schools were recognized with a state superintendent award.
Will Denslow and Jeanmarie Winger, seniors at Oxford High School, Ashley Lombardi and Erik Madden, eighth-graders at Great Oak Middle School, were awarded the SCASA (South Central Area Superintendents' Association) Award that "recognizes students' accomplishments based on academic, extra-curricular and community service criteria." Dan Knepple, a senior at OHS, was awarded a scholarship for his community service outreach.
Students from Oxford were accompanied by parents, Superintendent Tim Connellan, OHS Principal Frank Savo and Great Oak Principal Brian Murphy.
