The Oxford High School girls basketball team lost 56-46 to Joel Barlow despite a game-high 21 points from senior guard Jordyn Tolomeo, who hit six three-pointers.

Taylor Drayton had 12 and Sam Orner had six for Oxford, which is 3-7 on the season.
The OHS boys basketball team lost 48-35 to Joel Barlow on Friday.

Barlow came out in a triangle and two defense, meaning two of its players played man-to-man defense on Oxford’s two guards. That shut down much of the Wolverines outside play, said Coach Al Tolomeo.
Steve Mahoney had nine points for the Wolverines, which is now 1-8 on the season.
