Theboys volleyball team defeated Shelton in three sets in the opening game of the season on Wednesday. The OHS Wolverines won 25-11, 25-13 and 25-7. The team was led by Pat Cragan – 32 assists, 6 aces and three digs; junior captain Robert Costigan - 18 kills, two aces and four digs; and senior captain J.T. Van Kamerik - 10 kills, five blocks and seven digs. The team plays again against Amity Regional on the road at 5 p.m. Tuesday. - Scores submitted by Nisal Hewathanthri

Saddle up and join the Second Company Governor's Horse Guard for a beautiful spring ride through scenic trails. This rain or shine equestrian event invites you to bring your horses and enjoy a morning of riding starting from their historic grounds.
Pre-registration is open now and ends on May 1. Suggested pre-event donation is $45.00, with same-day registration of $55.00. This is the Annual Asher’s Answer 5K Run/Walk in honor of&nbsp;<a href="https://ashersanswer.org/about/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Asher Nathaniel Gibson.</a>
All proceeds will be used to provide support to our non-profit organization, <a href="https://ashersanswer.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Asher’s Answer</a>, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide financial support to families of children with rare trisomies.
This year, there will be games and activities for children under age 13, so feel free to bring the entire family!!!
NOTE: For safety and security purposes, race participants must be at least 13 yrs of age. Children younger than that can still come and participate in various games/activities while their parents race, but cannot race. Infant and toddlers may race with their parents only if they are transported in strollers or strapped to parents (ie body carriers).
