Oxford Would Have State Grants Cut 15% in Latest Budget Plan
Oxford would see its state budget allocation reduced by more than $700,000 from previously approved allocation if Malloy's plan lives.

OXFORD, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For Oxford, it would be a 15 percent cut from the previously approved $4.85 million total - to $4.15 million.
