Pomperaug Hands Oxford Baseball First Loss

Garrett DeLotto had three hits, including a three-run home run, and Nick DeLotto had two hits, including a two-run homer, to lead the Pomperaug High School (Southbury and Middlebury) baseball team to a 13-4 victory at Oxford high on Friday.

Pomperaug's Tim Harris stroked three hits to help Pomperaug hand Oxford its first loss, dropping the Wolverines to 4-1, 0-1 in the Southwest.

Pomperaug improved to 4-0, 1-0 in the Southwest Conference. 

Matt Renzoni had a two-run single for Oxford in the fourth inning, while Nick Seliga had an RBI double for the Wolverines, who had seven hits and five errors.
