Taylor Drayton All State in Two Field Events
Oxford track and field participates in state opens. Drayton qualifies for nationals.

The Oxford High School girls track team finished 19th out of 78 teams in the State Open Outdoor Track Championships on Monday.
Taylor Drayton came in 5th in the Shot Put with a school record throw of 37-7.25 and 3rd in the Discus with a throw of 117-5. She earns all state honors in both events and is the first OHS girls track athlete to qualify for the New England and National championships. New Englands will be held on Saturday in Saco, Maine.
Caylee Richardson placed 21st in the 3,200 meter run with a time of 11:42.41; she just missed breaking the school record in the event.

Corrinn Niski placed 21st in the 300 Intermediate Hurdles with a time of 49.94. She also just missed breaking the school record in the event.
The 4x800 meter relay team of Richardson, Sara Thorpe, Olivia Richter and Marcea Stilson finished 24th with a time of 10:07.08.
