Time to Tee Off This Weekend in Oxford

The Gone Fishin' sign that greets visitors in the fall and winter months at the Olde Sawmill Grill and Miniature Golf Course has been taken down.

That's right, people! Owner Al Turcott is back from his fishing venture and the mini golf season can begin once again.

This weekend, the venerable course at 345 Oxford Road, Route 67, will officially open to golfers at 11 a.m.

Both the grill and the golf course will be open until 10 p.m. Saturday, May 18.

The May hours for the grill will be Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The golf course will be closed Monday through Thursday in May only. It will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays; and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

Hours will be extended in June, July and August.
