Your kids are not to busy for Vacation Bible School
Are your children Too busy for Sunday School? Try Vacation Bible School.

Many, many families with children find that they are just too busy. Why is that? Parents juggling 2 jobs. Kid activities after school and on weekends. Family and personal time get sacrificed. And the thought to taking the family to church on a regular basis? Sunday day may be the only day you share together , even if you are still running around and doing chores.
But I have found that despite this hurried life style, these parents still want their children to learn about Jesus and the wonderful stories of the Bible. But, they just cannot attend Sunday services on a regular basis?
BUT I HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE FOR YOU--its called Vacation Bible School (VBS) Most VBS's run on week days for a morning or an afternoon, featuring a diversified and fun program so that children can have fun while learning. Activities include fun signing, fun bible dramas, fun crafts, fun games, fun snacks, and even fun prayers. Kids love VBS because most of their counselors are responsible teenagers, whom they grow to love during the week.

VBS's are not just for any one denomination. All kids are welcome and loved, equally, because "Jesus love the children." They are important to Him, and they are important to us.
However, I must admit that I am partial to the Christ Church Quaker Farms VBS being offered August 7 -11, 9:00 to 11:30 am Our VBS welcomes children in Grades Prek -5; but young people (Grades 6 - college) and other adults can join us as volunteers, too.
