Why We Run
Founded in 2008 by Robert and Gary Heslin, this race honors the memory of Jennifer Hawke-Petit, Hayley Petit, and Michaela Petit, and supports the mission of the Petit Family Foundation:
Fostering education — especially for young women in science
Protecting and helping those affected by violence
Improving lives touched by chronic illness
