Ridgefield's July Employment Data Released, Here's What The Numbers Reveal (patch.com) — Ridgefield's unemployment rate reached 4.7 percent in July, with 579 residents out of work in a local labor force of 12,288. The town's job market reflects a broader Connecticut pattern of higher unemployment than the national rate, even as both the regional labor market and statewide payrolls continue to add jobs.
