Berger-Girvalo Represents Our Values

I am voting to re-elect State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo so that Ridgefield will continue to have her voice represent our values in Hartford. Since her election in 2020, Berger-Girvalo has been a steady, effective voice for Ridgefield in the Connecticut House of Representatives. Her leadership and advocacy on critical issues including the environment and sustainability, children and families, and affordability, have improved the lives of people in Ridgefield and across Connecticut.

Representative Berger-Girvalo’s work on affordability is particularly significant. She has supported and led legislative efforts to hold down the cost of living by expanding health insurance coverage while reducing healthcare costs, enacting programs to help towns reduce auto and property taxes, and reducing taxes on businesses to help drive job creation. She has advocated for housing and zoning measures that will help make home ownership and other housing options available for all members of our community. She has brought significant state funding back to Ridgefield to make our schools and community spaces safer, cleaner, and accessible to all Ridgefielders. And if she is re-elected, she is committed to continuing this important work – reducing our tax burdens, improving services and reducing costs for seniors, and supporting our civic institutions, ensuring Ridgefield is an affordable and vibrant community for the entire community.
