Boehringer Ingelheim Employees Donate Time, Skills to CT Nonprofits
The Ridgefield-based company employs hundreds of employees, some of whom donates their time, skills and expenses to help others.

Ridgefield-based Boehringer Ingelheim has launched a new podcast series about its employees donating their time and skills to local Connecticut nonprofits.
On the new podcast series, stories are shared about employees who are donating their time and skills to help local Connecticut nonprofits.
Local resident Doug Grevatt (pictured) volunteers for Angel Flight Northeast, a nonprofit that provides free air travel to patients who can’t afford or medically tolerate commercial flights to get them to the treatments they need. Grevatt donates his time, skills and plane expenses.
“This is a great example of skills-based volunteerism, a core program of the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation. Through the program, employees donate their time and skills to local nonprofits to help fill community needs and make quite an impact,” the company said in a release.
