Students entering Grades 1-6 are invited to the Ridgefield Library on Monday, July 13th at 2:00 pm to meet Ginger Smith, founder of SOAR Together, to plant the seeds of social connection! Please register.
We’ll learn how flowers spark engagement and combat loneliness, while also learning about SOAR’s commitment to creating an environmentally responsible Flower Rescue Program model. Students will have a chance to decorate cups, create special notes, and craft their own floral arrangements to spread joy.
Learn more about SOAR Together‘s efforts to spark positive social encounters within communities and the Flower Power program!
This activity is part of the Ridgefield Library’s 2026 Summer Reading Program: Plant a Seed, Read and is sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library.
