Students in Grades 4-6, on Wednesday, August 5th at 2:00 pm, join Arborist Chris Teter with Bartlett Tree Experts at the Ridgefield Library to learn how to identify seeds from different tree species using a simplified dichotomous key. A discussion will follow the hands-on exploration of seeds to learn why scientists think seeds are so different from one another.
This activity is part of the Ridgefield Library’s 2026 Summer Reading Program: Plant a Seed, READ and is sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library.
