Ridgefield Democrats Host Pie & Politics Sept. 27 with U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz

U.S. Representative Jim Himes, who is running for re-election in Connecticut’s 4^th Congressional district, and Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz are among the special guests that will attend Ridgefield Democrats’ annual Pie & Politics event on Sunday, Sept. 27 from 2:30 to 5 pm at its headquarters, 75 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, CT.

Connecticut’s Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas will be among the featured speakers along with State Representative Aimee Berger-Girvalo (111^th House District), Savet Constantine (42^nd House District), State Senator Julie Kushner (24^th Senate District), and Weston First Selectperson Sam Nestor who is seeking election in the 26^th State Senate District.

Master of Ceremonies and Democratic Town Committee Chairperson Arny DiLaura will lead this popular event in a one-of-a-kind Ridgefield private garden.

The family-friendly event is open to the public and features homemade pies, wlots of conversation and an outdoor setting. Attendees will be able to meet and speak with all the candidates present as well as our visiting dignitaries.

There will be voter information available, as well. Connecticut now has early voting, which begins October 19.

Tickets are: $40/adult (18 or older).Adult admission includes anyone age 18 years old or above. Children 17 years old or younger will be admitted without charge when accompanying a paid adult.
