In this session on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Ridgefield Library, Town of Ridgefield Board of Finance Chair Mike Rettger will discuss how uncashed business checks and other financial assets come to be designated as “unclaimed property.” They then get turned over to the State Treasurer for safekeeping until you make a claim.

Mike will demonstrate how to search the “CT BIG List” for unclaimed property that may exist in your name and show how to file a claim using several real-life examples.
