Artificial Intelligence - AI for Everyone 
Tech journalist Lance Whitney will show you the major AI sites - ChatGPT, Bing AI, and Google Bard - and describe how to use them. He will also provide an overview of AI, explain what it means, and show you how AI can benefit you at work and at home.&nbsp; OPTIONAL - You may bring your laptop to follow along.&nbsp; Instructor Lance Whitney is a technology journalist and the author of the book book “Teach Yourself Visually LinkedIn.” He’s also written a book on Windows 8. He currently writes for TechRepublic, ZDNet, PCMag, and other technology sites. Previously, he was a system administrator with Ciba Specialty Chemicals. He's taught a variety of continuing education courses at Ridgefield Continuing Education for several years.

Excel 365 for Windows - Fast Paced Intro / Refresher 
For people who have used Excel in the past and need to fill in basic gaps. Also for people who have solid basic computer skills, but are new to Excel. Learn to create, update, and format worksheets and charts.&nbsp; Enter basic formulas, tips and tricks, and more. &nbsp;Instructor: Peggy Bruno.

Excel 365 for Windows Intermediate - Linking Sheets, More Formulas &amp; Functions 
Prerequisite: Intro to Excel or equivalent experience. Exercises focus on practice with formulas; calculations; linking sheets and workbooks; relative, absolute, and mixed cell references; additional charts; cell protection and more. &nbsp;Instructor: Peggy Bruno.

Peggy Bruno, a certified teacher, has developed computer courses and trained over a thousand adults in computer applications over a 30 year period. She previously worked in corporate marketing and information services. She has also taught Microsoft Office at the community college level. She holds a BA and MA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

LaBlast Fitness ® Cardio Dance Workout with Light Weights You will get your heart rate up and sweat a bit with this aerobic workout created by Louis Van Amstel of Dancing with the Stars. LaBlast® is a partner-free, simple, low impact, safe, cardio / ballroom dance workout for all levels. Some exercises use optional light weights. There is no mat. It's fun and energizing. Beginners are encouraged to attend. Wear sneakers and bring light hand weights (if you have them) and a water bottle. Instructor Denise Nethercott started ballroom dancing in 2011 and has successfully competed as an amateur ballroom dancer with Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She is an Open Gold level dancer with numerous accomplishments. Denise's mission is to combine her passion for ballroom dance with her passion for physical fitness. LaBlast® is a fun, safe exercise program that combines the love of dance with the need to move our bodies. Denise became a certified LaBlast® Fitness instructor in 2019 and started Dance Fit with Denise in 2021. More bio on website.

Zumba ® 
Zumba, a high energy fitness workout, combines Latin and internatonal music with dance moves, creating a fun and effective workout. It incorporates elements of aerobic, interval and resistance training, maximizing calorie burning and cardiovascular benefits. Move to the rhythm of salsa, flamenco, merengue and other global beats. Wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. Instructor Yolima Solano (Tuesdays at 6 pm) is licensed in Zumba ®, a life long dancer originally from Colombia, who enjoys teaching Zumba ® in the area. She is also a dental hygienist.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jill Savitti (Thursdays at 6:30 pm) is Zumba certified and has taught in this area about 8 years.

Full Body Burn and Tone&nbsp;- on ZOOM Only This full body workout, led by Pat Anikewich, is designed to burn calories and sculpt lean muscle by using elements of cardio, strength training, and stretch. The class is good for beginners, intermediate and advanced participants. Modifications are always offered in a non-intimidating environment. Weights are encouraged, (bring your own) but not required. Please have available weights of your choice, towel, mat and water. Instructor Patricia Anikewich holds many group exercise certifications and teaches at many Westchester and Connecticut fitness centers. Make up date, if needed, is early January.

In this session on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Ridgefield Library, Town of Ridgefield Board of Finance Chair Mike Rettger will discuss how uncashed business checks and other financial assets come to be designated as “unclaimed property.” They then get turned over to the State Treasurer for safekeeping until you make a claim.
Ridgefield’s portion of this inventory is 68,000 items totaling $11M!
Mike will demonstrate how to search the “CT BIG List” for unclaimed property that may exist in your name and show how to file a claim using several real-life examples.

Divorce Resource CT will present “The Space Between: A Clinician’s Guide to Divorce — Emotional, Legal &amp; Financial,” a free interdisciplinary program designed specifically for mental health professionals whose clients are contemplating, beginning or navigating divorce.
Clients often begin talking about divorce in the therapy room long before they have spoken with an attorney, financial professional or anyone else about what divorce might actually look like. That places clinicians in a unique and important position: helping clients explore whether they are emotionally ready to move forward, while understanding when and how other professionals can appropriately become part of the conversation.
The program brings together three experienced divorce professionals — Jennifer Champagne, a mental health professional; Rosemarie Ferrante, JD, a divorce mediator and collaborative attorney; and Hollis Hardiman, CDFA®, a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst — for a candid and practical discussion about the emotional, legal and financial considerations that arise when a marriage may be ending.
Rather than focusing solely on what happens after someone decides to divorce, The Space Between examines the often-overlooked period between contemplating divorce and actually beginning the process.
Topics will include emotional readiness for divorce; understanding mediation, collaborative divorce and other process options; financial readiness and the information clients should begin gathering; the impact of divorce on children and families; and the distinct roles attorneys, mental health professionals and financial professionals can play in supporting families.



The Space Between is offered at no charge to mental health professionals. A light continental breakfast will be provided.
