Connecticut Power Outages: More Than 1,000 Residents Without Power
Over 1,000 residents statewide are without power Thursday during a serious snowstorm.

Thousands of residents in Connecticut are without power Thursday as snow continues to pound the entire state and deteriorating travel conditions.
According to the Eversource Power Outage Map's latest update as of 12:38 p.m. Thursday, 1,345 residents statewide are without power. Communities most affected by power outages include Old Lyme, Sprague and Ledyard
Currently, 364 Eversource customers in Old Lyme are without power.

It's always smart to check your refrigerator temperature after any power outage, no matter how long power is out. According to foodsafety.gov, you should check the temperature inside of your refrigerator and freezer and discard any perishable food items that have been above 40 degrees for two hours or more.
