Coronavirus CT: Here Are The Town-By-Town Case Numbers
The number of coronavirus breakthrough cases in Connecticut over the past seven days has dropped below 30 percent, after a weekend spike.
CONNECTICUT — The state's daily coronavirus positivity rate crept up 0.60 percent overnight, to 2.83 percent, with 553 cases confirmed Monday, out of 19,555 tests taken.
Out of the 2,032 cases of COVID-19 recorded by the state Department of Public Health in the past seven days, 608, or 29.9 percent, were among residents who had already been completely vaccinated. That's down nearly 10 percentage points from the weekend numbers.

The number of residents hospitalized with the coronavirus continues to drop. The number is down five beds overnight, to 259.
Most of them (92) can be found within hospitals in Hartford County.

As of last Thursday, 8,483 Connecticut residents have died from COVID-19-associated illness.
