Democrats Protect Reproductive Freedom
I support Democratic candidates because they clearly and consistently support the freedom to access reproductive healthcare.
Because of our current delegation in Hartford, women in CT have the strongest
reproductive health protections in the country. But Republicans are clear that they will impose limits on those freedoms. We must elect candidates who do not waver on reproductive rights. 85% of Americans support legal abortion. However, 22 states and counting have imposed bans on abortion. From Donald Trump (who is proud that Roe v. Wade was overturned), all the way down the ballot, if Republicans win they will strip our rights and push their dangerous agenda, including a nationwide abortion ban, limits on birth control and IVF, and more.
Women, men and families deserve real leaders who fight for and defend our rights. Planned Parenthood Votes CT has endorsed the following candidates who will fight to protect and expand reproductive health and rights, and work to expand access to abortion: Julie Kushner for State Senate in District 24, Ceci Maher for State Senate in District 26, Savet Constantine for State Rep in District 42, and Aimee Berger-Girvalo for State Rep for District 111.
