Down Power Lines Spark Brush Fire in Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Down power lines on North Street sparked dry leaves into a brush fire on Wednesday night, the Ridgefield Press is reporting.

Ridgefield firefighters on the scene near St. Mary's Cemetery worked the blaze from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. No one was hurt.

Eversource reported more than 159 customers without power between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.
