'Festive Home' Returns To Ridgefield Guild Of Artists In November
This year's Festive Home will run from Saturday, Nov. 23 to Sunday, Dec. 23 at the Ridgefield Guild Of Artists' antique barn on Halpin Lane.

For many years, Ridgefield Guild of Artists has celebrated the holidays with creativity and style during its annual Festive Home fundraiser showcase. “We finish up our 50th Anniversary ‘year of celebration’ with Festive Home 2024, featuring local designers, artisans, and artwork from our members. It’s always a fan favorite in town,” says Pam Stoddart, Guild Executive Director. “It’s where you can find unique and hand-crafted gifts and décor for your holiday shopping, all while helping the Guild.”
This year’s Festive Home will run from Saturday, November 23 – Sunday, December 23 at the Guild’s antique barn on Halpin Lane, with special shopping hours Tuesday – Sunday, 11-5pm. As always, there will be a Sneak Peek and Preview Party on Friday, November 22nd from 5 – 8pm when we will also celebrate our 50th Birthday! So, come for this special party and make merry with us! Seventies attire optional, but could be fun! Tickets are $50 per person with food, libations, music, and more! Plan to join us by purchasing tickets on our website: www.rgoa.org. (Tickets also available at the door.) Proceeds from this fundraiser will help pay to repair our rickety and old outdoor stairs, so our art students will be able to more easily access the upstairs studio with their supplies.
Four of our friends, and beautiful decorators, Rachel Belden, Jennifer Coleman, Molly Hirsch, and Jill Rae, will again adorn our space with fabulous vignettes, featuring member artist works, generously giving their time and talents to Festive Home 2024. In addition, there will be loads of hand-crafted items such as knits, jewelry, ceramics, stationery and holiday cards, candles, décor, and much, much more. The walls will also showcase Guild member artwork of all kinds.
In celebration of the Guild’s 50th Birthday year, last year we kicked things off with Festive Home by embracing the groovy years of the 1970s! This year, we take on Disco! In 1974, a small band of local artists founded the Ridgefield Guild of Artists in partnership with the town, who generously leased space to the group. Still housed in the antique goat barn at the bottom of Halpin Lane, that small troupe of artists who wanted a place to call their own and share their art, has grown into a 350+ member and thriving 501c3 non-profit arts organization, welcoming artists at all levels, who want to inspire, create and explore with us. All donations are welcome and gratefully accepted.
Ridgefield Guild of Artists is located at 34 Halpin Lane. Special holiday shopping hours for Festive Home 2024 will be Tuesday – Sunday, 11-5pm. Beginning Saturday, November 23rd, Festive Home is free and open to all. Visit www.rgoa.org or call 203-438-8863 for more information about Festive Home 2024 and all Guild offerings.
