Independent Party Endorses Collins for 45th District Probate Judge

The Independent Party of Connecticut has endorsed Jennifer Collins in her race for the 45th District's Probate Judge seat.

RIDGEFIELD, CT – The Independent Party of Connecticut has endorsed attorney Jennifer Collins for Judge of Probate in the Northern Fairfield County Probate Court in the 45th District, which serves Bethel, Newtown, Redding, and Ridgefield.

Collins, the endorsed Republican candidate, will now appear on both the Republican and Independent Party lines on the Nov. 8 ballot. The Independent Party is the third-largest political party in Connecticut.

"Probate Courts ensure care, safety, and community-based solutions for our most vulnerable residents and their families in times of need while also protecting the rights of individuals. I’m honored that both the Republican and Independent Parties have validated my experience and have entrusted me to serve Bethel, Newtown, Redding, and Ridgefield with this important responsibility," Collins said.

Collins is a Connecticut magistrate and senior partner with the regional law firm Cramer & Anderson. A 24-year resident of the Northern Fairfield County Probate District, she lives in Ridgefield with her family.
