Narcan Administered to Ridgefield Man Who Died from Overdose: Report
David Anderson died on Jan. 5 at a sober house in Torrington.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — David Anderson, the 29-year-old Ridgefield man who died of a drug overdose in Torrington last week, was administered the antidote Narcan but the medication did not take, reports The News Times.
Anderson died on Jan. 5 at a sober home operated by Key Recovery Homes, and a member of the staff administered the Narcan. According to the publican, Anderson was the second overdose fatality at a Key Recovery home in Torrington in a week.
Officials believe both Anderson and Alycia Cimino, also 29, both bought heroin laced with the powerful opioid fentanyl, possibly from the same dealer. Cimino overdosed on Dec. 29 at a different Key Recovery location in the Litchfield County city.
