New Ranks: Ridgefield Police Promote Six Officers

The Ridgefield Police Department has promoted six of its members.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Police Department has promoted six of its members.

Lt. Jeffrey Raines was promoted to captain, Sgt. John Knoche was promoted to lieutenant, and Sgt. Shawn Murray was promoted to lieutenant. Officers Christopher DiFalco, Mark Caswell and Brian Shimko were all promoted to sergeant.

The RPD made the announcement during a ceremony at Lounsbury House on Friday.
