New Ridgefield Brewery Gains P&Z Approval: Report

Nod Hill Brewery is slated for Route 7.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The town will begin allowing breweries and brew pubs this year, following an approval this week by the Ridgefield Planning and Zoning Commission for a zoning change.

The News Times reports that the commission's approval allows a proposal for Nod Hill Brewery, a new venture owned by local businessman Robert Kaye, to move forward.

Kaye is planning to build the brewery on property he owns at 137 Ethan Allen Highway (Route 7) sometime this year.
