It’s not only parents who care about education in Ridgefield. As a senior, I fully support Ridgefield’s schools, because education is our town’s economic engine. New families move to Ridgefield for our schools, and excellent schools keep our town vital and growing. That’s why I’m voting to re-elect State Senator Ceci Maher for her hard work and results in supporting Ridgefield’s schools and students. As Chair of the Senate Children’s Committee, Ceci is laser-focused on keeping kids safe and healthy. Ceci passed legislation to address the effects of hate speech on children, improved access to mental, physical and emotional health services for children, and introduced parental controls on social media for minors. Ceci’s advocacy resulted in increased education funding by $230 million for towns across our state. We need Ceci in Hartford representing our town’s values. I’ll be at Town Hall when early voting begins on October 21st, to cast my vote for State Senator Ceci Maher and her Democratic running mates.
