Ridgefield Coronavirus Update: 172 Confirmed Cases

Here are the latest, local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Ridgefield.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Public Health has confirmed that 172 cases of the new coronavirus have been reported in Ridgefield as of Saturday.

Statewide, Connecticut once again saw a double-digit decrease in the net number of coronavirus hospitalizations. Additionally, nearly 100 more people died from virus complications. There were 67 fewer patients hospitalized for COVID-19 between Friday and Saturday.

There were another 98 coronavirus-related deaths, which brings the state's total to 1,862. Another 661 people tested positive out of 3,564 tests.
