Ridgefield Election: Jeff Lundberg - Board Of Assessment Appeals
Jeff Lundberg shared views with Patch about running for Board of Assessment Appeals.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — The state Municipal Election is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
Patch contacted candidates to answer questions about their campaigns.
Democrat Jeff Lundberg, 77, is running for Board of Assessment Appeals in Ridgefield.
Occupation: Retired Executive
Experience: Chairman and Board of Assessment Appeals
Family in government: No
The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
The BAA is a not a policy generating Board. We hear property assessment appeals filed by fellow citizens. The three BAA members must above all be fair minded in listening to the appeals. We must "park" our personal biases and party affiliations at the door and focus on each case as presented to us.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I cannot comment on this subject as I am not aware of the other candidates.
Accomplishments:
I have been on the Board for seven years and assumed the Chairman position four years ago and have learned much about assessments and property values and Board administration. The BAA runs smoothly and without issues under my leadership.
Other issues:
Making Ridgefield a better place to live via constant improvements.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I believe each citizen is obligated to serve our fellow citizens in some capacity. I served my country with four years of active duty in the US Navy. I am the Chairman of the Town's Graveyard Committee and I was on the Board of the local Symphony and I walked dogs at ROAR for five years to name a few.
