Ridgefield Fire Department Welcomes New Hires And Honors Career Milestones
Ridgefield Fire Department swore in new firefighters and recognized members for training and career achievements.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Fire Department last week welcomed three new professional firefighters and marked career milestones for several others during a ceremony at headquarters.
Firefighter/Paramedics Torres, Hoffman and Carlson were sworn in, while Firefighters Gaudelli and Furano advanced from recruit to probationary status.
Firefighter/EMTs Saxa, Summerfield and MacCalla completed their probationary periods, and volunteer members Boals, Connor and Hansen finished the Firefighter 1 training course.
Officials said the event recognized both new hires and the ongoing professional development of department members.
