Ridgefield Main Street Project Continues: The Schedule For Next Week

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Work is continuing on the Main Street Project, with more construction scheduled for the week of July 25.

Next Monday evening, Richards Construction will dig six or seven additional test pits for verification of existing water main conditions. Starting Tuesday at 7 p.m., workers will dig a 60-foot trench along Bailey Avenue to secure existing water pipes with additional restraints. This effort will prevent or mitigate future leakage, according to a news release from the town.

The Bailey Avenue construction will be completed by the end of the week.

There will be no disruption to traffic flow during the evening construction period as a result of the work, according to a news release from the town. The construction at the entrance to the CVS parking lot continues on schedule.
