Ridgefield Music to Close Up Shop End of July
A "Ridgefield Music Store Farewell Jam" is scheduled at Redding Roadhouse on Aug. 6.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — Retail institution Ridgefield Music will be shuttering on July 31.
The Governor Street institution stopped offering lessons in June, and had been energetically promoting its going-out-of-business sale the past week on social media.
The shop opened in 1970.
A "Ridgefield Music Store Farewell Jam" is scheduled at Redding Roadhouse, 406 Redding Road, on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 7-11 p.m.
