Ridgefield Playhouse Unveils The New American Metal Fueling Station

The American Metal Fueling Station is a stunning full-bar featuring vintage photos of custom restored cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles from the garage. Above the vintage photographs is a beautiful chrome metal bar, and behind the bar are shelves of American Metal's Limited Edition single-barrel, small-batch whiskey bottles.
"We are thrilled to unveil our new American Metal Fueling Station," said Ridgefield Playhouse Executive Director, Ashley Paltauf. "This space provides our guests with a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy refreshments and small bites before, during, or after a performance. Our expanded lobby has plenty of seating to hang out, which is a significant improvement from the previous space before the renovation in 2022."
On tap, Ridgefield Playhouse offers Nod Hill Brews, Two Roads Brewing, Counter Weight Brewing, Reverie Brewing, and more. Small-batch cocktails are served featuring Vengeance Vodka, Litchfield Distillery, Costa Tequila, Campari, Suntory Global Spirits, Freixenet and Peroni Italia. Non-alcoholic options, such as Pepsi beverages and local roaster Quartertone Coffee, can be found at the concession stand along with light snacks and cookies from the beloved local Whistle Stop Bakery.
Ticket holders are invited to arrive early, grab a whiskey cocktail in the distinguished bar, mingle with friends before the show, and bring their drinks inside the theater. The bar's design aesthetic seamlessly blends industrial elements of a custom auto shop with refined vintage touches.
On Thursday, December 12th, Michael McGuirk, the Chamber of Commerce President; First Selectman, Rudy Marconi; and Chris Bishop, American Metal CEO, joined Paltauf for a ribbon cutting.
Donors were treated to an exclusive preview of Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance’s Nutcracker, a cherished 24-year-old tradition and partnership that donors and patrons look forward to as a kick off to the holiday season. Nothing says holidays more than a local Nutcracker performance and an old-fashioned.
