Ridgefield Police Investigate Workplace Accident That Injured Construction Worker
A construction worker was taken to Danbury Hospital after a workplace accident on East Ridge Road, police said.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — A construction worker was hospitalized Friday morning following a workplace accident on East Ridge Road, according to Ridgefield police.
Police said officers responded to 100 East Ridge Road at about 9:15 a.m. after receiving a report of an on-site accident. The Ridgefield Fire Department transported a male worker to Danbury Hospital. The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.
The Ridgefield Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
