Ridgefield Selectpersons Name Public Safety Facilities Committee Members
The Ridgefield Board of Selectpersons made a series of appointments and reappointments during its Jan. 21 meeting.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The Ridgefield Board of Selectpersons made a series of appointments and reappointments during its Jan. 21 meeting.
Selectpersons appointed seven members to the town’s newly formed Public Safety Facilities Committee: Stephen Scalzo, Pamela Dunaway, Dennis Graves, Edward Tyrell, Wally Martinez, David Brickley and Adam Safir.

The board also reappointed Peter Coffin and John Murren to the Building Code Board of Appeals and reappointed Jason Celestino as building official. David Perlmutter was appointed to the Economic & Community Development Committee, and Robert Rotolo was appointed as an alternate member of the Board of Ethics.
In other business, Pension Commission members Chris Christiansen and Andrew Okrongly provided an update on the town’s pension plans. The Pension Commission oversees the investment activities of the trusts that fund defined benefit retirement programs for town employees.
