Tragic Accident: Woman Killed After Being Pinned By Car And Tree
The Connecticut woman was killed in a tragic accident that occurred Thursday afternoon. She served as a caregiver for a man.

ANDOVER, CT — A tragic accident occurred in Connecticut Thursday. Florence Caillard, 59, of Willimantic, who is a care giver for an elderly man, was killed when she became pinned between her car and a tree, according to media reports including Fox 61.
The accident occurred just before 1 p.m. and according to State Police it appears that Caillard exited her car and didn't set the emergency brake and then her car began to roll backward because of the high pitch of the driveway.
She ended up wedged between a car door and a tree, Fox 61 reports. The accident occurred on East Street in Andover and Caillard was working at the time of the accident, NBC Connecticut reports. The accident remains under investigation by Connecticut State Police. Andover is a small town in Tolland County.
