The new Asian Bistro restaurant at 396 Cromwell Ave., will hold a soft opening on Monday evening.
The restaurant's menu includes hibachi, Asian fusion and sushi cuisine with a full bar.
"It's upscale dinning at a moderate price," said Danny Chen, the new eatery's manager.

There are Asian Bistros in Plainville, Shelton and Mansfield. However, the restaurant in Rocky Hill has a "more modern design with a lot of advanced features" including LED lights, Chen said.
The restaurant prides itself on its sushi, the quality of its service and its happy hour, he added. Happy hour is Monday through Friday, 4:30-6:30 p.m., with buy one drink and get one for a penny.

Servers, bartenders, buspeople and hostesses interested in working at Asian Bistro should call 860-563-8886.
The restaurant's hours of operation are 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The grand opening will be held on Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
