Belden Library To Host Sept. 19 Virtual Conversation With A Scientist On Brain Power

The Zoom session begins at 2 p.m.

Saturday, Sep. 19, 2:00 p.m.

How does your body know to do things without you hardly thinking about it—like breathing or reaching for a fork to eat your dinner? Enter the fascinating brain. One part is in charge of sending messages to your body, making calculations and speaking. Another part is in charge of intuition, creativity and music. What part controls your memory or your emotions? What are brainbows (the photo included with this program)? What about genetics? How does this influence our brain? Must preregister to get zoom code. Recommended for kids in 3rd grade and up.
