Chill Out!
Give yourself permission to relax for 5 to 10 minutes in this restorative yoga pose. Promotes calmness, peacefulness, reduces anxiety, depression, stress, insomina and so much more! Give it a try!
Put your legs up the wall (see video clip), chill out; allow yourself 5 to 10 minutes to do nothing! When you arrive there, notice what your body feels like in stillness, going from doing to being is powerful. Bring awareness to your breath and begin to take several long slow deep breaths (in/out through the nose) to promote calmness and peacefulness.
This restorative yoga pose, Legs up the Wall, has magical powers. This pose helps to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, calms the mind, calms the nervous system, relieves tired or cramped legs/feet, stretches the back of the legs/back and even helps to reduce cellulite.
