How is Your Balance?
Is your body fall proof? See how YOU have the power to improve your balance!

How is your balance? Stop what you’re doing. Stand and shift your weight to your left foot, lift your right leg up a few inches from the floor. Are you wobbling, shaking or in control? Did you know that as we age, we lose balance? Changes in the body systems that contribute to balance and mobility are an inevitable part of aging. Good balance is needed in order to maintain and control your body’s position whether you are moving or just standing.
We balance are checkbooks, our diets, so why not pay attention to your balance to help support daily activities, improve posture and core, improve sports performance and more.
Balance is control, once in balance we have control over our movements. Better balance lessens the likelihood of falls and helps with injury prevention. Good balance and a strong core go together; you can’t have one without the other. A strong core and balance usually equates to less back pain.
